A hot humid Sunday afternoon was interupted at 16:00 hours by the pre alert tone being hit for a reported house fire in Abbottstown Borough on Abbotts Drive just off Kinneman Road. Lt. Tim Tyler was first on scene and advised Adams County of a working two story house fire.   Fire was visable from the front "side A" and the roof. Lt. Tyler requested RIT from York County 46 and 49.   Captain 33 (J. Chronister) the duty officer went on scene and took command while Lt. Tyler assumed operations.   Engine 33-2 arrived first taking the hydrant almost directly in front of the home, while Truck 33 came in from the opposite direction setting up on side A. Three pets were rescued from the home including two dogs and one cat. The house was a total loss. The fire was declared under control in about thirty minutes. All units cleared and in service by 18:15 hours. Assisting departments included Hampton, East Berlin, Irishtown, S.A.V.E.S.
