Train Car Fire | Vulcan Mine & Quarry

A little before 04:30 hours Saturday morning, the alarm sounded to assist the Irishtown Fire Department with a train car on fire within the Vulcan Mines Quarry off Hanover Street in box 14-2. Ambulance 33-A's crew arrived on scene advising of a working train car fire attached to a line of other cars. Engine 33-1's crew set up ladders and and began some truck work operations. The incident was cleared shortly after 05:00 hours
